National School of Administration

I. General Introduction

In compliance with the needs of China's reform, opening up and modernization drive and according to the decisions of the 13th CPC National Congress and the 1st Session of the 7th National People's Congress, China National School of Administration (CNSA) began construction in 1988 and officially opened in September of 1994. As a ministerial-level institution directly reporting to the State Council, CNSA is a state-of-the-art training center for middle and senior civil servants, senior executives and policy research fellows. It provides policy consultancy to government management and develops theoretical research in the fields such as public management.
