Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao began to deliver a report on the work of the government to the annual session of the national legislature that opened in Beijing Sunday morning.

The premier is expected to outline this year's targets for economic and social development and make explanations about the draft guidelines of the development plan for 2006-2010.
