On 15 and 16 March, the first S&T event-- China-Russia Instrument Project Promotion-- of the Year of Russia was staged respectively in Shenyang and Beijing. It aims to increase the mutual understanding among the research institutions and enterprises of the two countries and further develop and expand bilateral substantial S&T cooperation and exchange.

At the promotion conference, 4 experts from the Russian Integrated Center for Technological Research and Production, together with 18 affiliated instrument enterprises carried out talks with the department (bureau) of science and technology of relevant provinces and cities in China and the Chinese counterparts from the sectors of aerospace, photoelectricity, surveying and mapping, and chemical engineering. The Russian enterprises presented nearly 100 projects at the promotion.
