CAS Executive Vice President BAI Chunli and officials from Russia's New Siberia State and the Siberia Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) attended the ceremony. CAS President Lu Yongxiang sent his congratulations to the ceremony.

The new park, a platform of technology transfer for CAS and RAS, will be a leader in Sino-Russian cooperation by exploring new approaches, says Prof. Bai.

First proposed by Prof. Lu, the park was a joint venture between the Jilin Provincial Government, CAS, RAS Siberia Branch, and New Siberia. Based on related institutes and universities, it is an international industrial park with a modern enterprise system and cultural environment that integrates various social resources, such as S&T personnel, technology and information.
