Senior CPC official arrives in Ecuador

Senior CPC official Li Changchun arrived in Quito Wednesday morning, making a two-day stopover in Ecuador as he continued his visit to Latin America.

During his stay in Ecuador, Li is to meet with President Rafael Correa and Foreign Minister Maria Fernanda Espinoza.

Li, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Central Committee, will leave Quito for Peru Thursday.

Before coming to Quito, Li has visited Mexico, Venezuela and Suriname.
