Chinese legislator meets Georgian guests

Senior Chinese legislator Chen Changzhi met with a delegation from the Georgian Parliament in Beijing Thursday afternoon.

Chen, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), met with Minashvili Akaki, chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Parliament of Georgia, in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

China and Georgia have seen smooth development of bilateral relations since they established official links in 1992. Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said the Caucasian state was ready to add new impetus to the growth of bilateral ties so as to lift it to higher levels.
